🛠 General Questions
🔹 Do you provide the parts for the build?
No, customers must provide their own parts. However, we offer a resources page with recommendations on where to buy components and ensure compatibility.
🔹 I’m not sure which parts to buy. Can you help?
Yes! We provide guidance on part selection and compatibility. Check out our [Resources Page] for helpful links and tools. If you still need assistance, feel free to contact us before making a purchase.
🔹 Can I bring used parts for my build?
Yes, but we only accept used parts that have been tested and confirmed working. We do not troubleshoot defective hardware before a build.
🔹 Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Since we do not supply parts, we cannot accept returns. Any hardware defects must be handled through the manufacturer or retailer where the parts were purchased.
🔹 What if my PC doesn’t work after assembly?
We offer a 30-day labor warranty to cover any build-related issues. If there is a hardware defect, we will help identify the problem, but the manufacturer warranty will need to be used for replacements.
💻 Services, Payment & Pricing 💰
🔹 How much do you charge for a PC build?
Our pricing depends on the build tier:
Basic PC Build – $175
Standard Gaming Build – $225
High-Performance Build – $275
Additional services, like Windows installation, BIOS tuning, and cable management upgrades, are available for an extra charge. See our [Services Page] for details.📢All prices include travel and delivery fees!
🔹 Do you offer overclocking or extreme tuning?
At this time, we do not offer extreme overclocking or advanced power limit tuning. We do provide basic BIOS optimization and GPU fan curve adjustments to improve performance and efficiency.
🔹 Can you install liquid cooling?
We install AIO (all-in-one) liquid coolers, but we currently do not build custom water loops.
🔹 Do you test the PC before returning it?
Yes! Every build goes through benchmarking and stability testing to ensure proper performance and cooling. High-performance builds receive extended thermal testing.
🔹 Do you install Windows and software?
Yes, we offer Windows installation & driver setup for an additional $50 (customer must provide a valid license key).
🔹 Can you clean up my old PC or upgrade it?
Yes! We offer thermal paste reapplication, fan replacement, SSD upgrades, and general PC maintenance.
🔹 When and how do I pay for my PC build?
Payment is due upon completion of your build. Once your PC is assembled, tested, and ready for pickup, you’ll have the chance to inspect the final product. We accept cash or Venmo (@ForgeTechBuilds).
💡 For larger builds, we may request a small deposit ($25–$50) to secure your build slot.
💰 Do you offer any discounts?
Yes! We provide multiple ways to save on your PC build:
🎉 First-Time Discount: Save $20 on your first build with us!
🎓 Student Discount: 10% OFF with a valid school ID.
🤝 Referral Bonus: Refer a friend, and both of you get $15 back after their build is completed.
🔗 Can I combine discounts?
Yes! Our discounts are stackable, meaning you can apply multiple savings to your build. For example, a first-time student referral could combine all three!
🛠️ How do I claim my discount?
Simply mention your eligibility when booking your build, and we’ll apply the discount at checkout.
📦 Pickup, Delivery, & Turnaround Time
🔹 How long does it take to complete a build?
Basic builds take 1-2 days
Gaming & high-performance builds take 2-4 days
More complex builds may take slightly longer, depending on workload and testing.
🔹 Can I ship my parts to you?
At this time, we only offer local pickup and drop-off in Austin, TX and surrounding areas. Shipping options may be available in the future.

We offer local pickup and drop-off services for your completed build. Contact us to arrange details.
⚡ Troubleshooting & Warranty
🔹 What happens if a part is defective?
If a component is faulty, we will help identify the issue, but the customer must handle manufacturer warranty claims.
🔹 What if my PC has issues after the build?
We offer a 30-day labor warranty to fix any issues related to the assembly process. If the issue is hardware-related, we will assist in diagnosing the problem, but replacements must be handled through the retailer or manufacturer.
🔹 Can you help me troubleshoot a PC I built myself?
Yes! We offer PC diagnostic services for $45 to help identify issues with power, booting, or performance.
